New Eskimo in Sweden
Hi there !
Time for introductions, but I have to start with a huge thanks to all the fantastic discussions, videos, pics, links .... everything, especially now that the US tour has started - I feel like I'm almost at the concerts myself inspite of being on the other side of the world. Only discovered him relatively recently compared to all of you guys but I am strangely and utterly addicted to everything Damo. My journey started with Glen. Through various clips on YT this lead eventually to me finding Damien. I'm not really sure what or how it happened but I think the Christmas busk video from 2011 with a scruffy Damo looking like Jesus himself, with his beat up guitar singing his heart out made me realise what musical honesty and genius this man has to share with the world. I'm still in the infatuation stage and am finding all other music totally unlistenable. This has been going on for about a month now. I'm enjoying it. |

Thanks Vere! Know something? I knew you would be the first to welcome me to this warm and wonderful place. It almost feels like I know some of you a little bit already :-). Isn't the internet great?!
I've been plowing the igloo for weeks, starting back at the very beginning. Weird or what? It has been fascinating, I've learned a lot about Damien's musical/personal journey thanks to everyone contributing here. |
