Anyone at Paddy's gig in An Cruiscin Lan last night??
Terrible place for a gig, sound guy made an amount of mistakes, but regardless it was a brillant night....Paddy's new stuff is great and I recommend everyone to have a listen to the new album when it comes out....pity that they had to stop playing at 11.30, would have stayed the night to hear more, but I guess you don't always get want you want |

What does the new stuff sound like?
I mean beside that track that you could get as wma when his new Homepage was launched I haven't heard anything of his new stuff. I really love Amen (So Be It) and is the new sound similar or something very diffrent? by the way did he do some covers? |

Paddy was great in dolans,he covered Princes 'When doves cry' and that other wicked song 'no diggity',it was class. The new stuff sounds great, but he still played the classics, sweet suburban sky was awesome

Well I really liked all of the new stuff, very different to Amen (So Be It)......you can hear "Don't need anyone" at http://www.geocities.com/micskylarkin/html/mp3.htm,
scroll down and you should find it.....he didn't play any covers, even though he played No Diggity last year and it was outstanding.....from what I can remember he played "Whatever gets u true","Everyboby Wants","Ancient Sorrow","Sweet Suburban Sky","Downtown","It's Over Now" and "Fear" from Amen and a good few tracks from the new album, names that I can remember are "Miracle", "Self-Service","Don't need anyone","Anyone who's yet to come","Living","Saints and Sinners" and "All in a day", not sure if all these are on the new album but guess that they are...could have been more but I can't remember at the moment, I'll have to have a think about it.......sorry if I've made any mistakes and for the fact that I can't remember the exact setlist Edit: Forgot to mention that Paddy got Declan to play one of his own songs "All along the western seaboard" (I think), it was a famine inspired song, really good too!Edited by: DaveG |

Declan is the other guitarist alright.......have heard "Criminal", in fact it's a firm favourite for me, although haven't heard him play it live yet......it's his own song though, isn't it??
